Shooting the stills library for the Honda HR-V taught me that in advertising not everything is as it looks. All backgrounds and lifestyle shots were plated on location and then the vehicle was replaced in post with a combination of studio-shot vehicle plates and CGI in order to accommodate the various color and trim combinations for Honda’s sales brochures and website. It took an 8-day shoot and a hell of a lot of post!
